Players Chophouse’s Whistler Improv Comedy Night is back on Friday, September 3rd in Creekside. Comedic super-star Roman Danylo returns with special guest Ellie Harvie. These farcical geniuses are banding together to help raise resources and awareness in support of the Whistler Arts Council. Doors are open at 5pm for dinner seatings and the show is at 9pm.

2131 Lake Placid Road to register. Race is from 9 am - 2 pm, Alta Lake
La Terra Ventures Inc. presents the Xterra Canadian National Championships in Whistler. Racers swim in Alta Lake, doing laps of 750 metres in length with a short beach run between each, then do a mountain bike race on single track and climbs. $15 fee for insurance.
